ASG unwraps Christmas spirit with toy drive

ASG HELPS THOSE IN NEED.

Donation centers for the ASG toy drive are available on campus until Dec.19.

All gifts are to be unwrapped and dropped off in boxes located in designated areas including the Don Bookstore, Nealley Library, the Spot, both floors of the S building, the first floor of the C building and room U121.

ASG is working with the Athletic and Activity League Afterschool Program, a division of the Santa Ana Police department, to deliver toys to youth from the ages of 7 to 15.

“We expect over one hundred gifts to be donated,” said ASG President Edna Tobias.

Distribution will be held on Friday, Dec. 21 at the McFadden branch of the Santa Ana Public Library located on 2627 W. Mcfadden in Santa Ana.

Gifts will be handed out from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Games such as Toilet Paper Toss, Cookie Drop, Chap Stack and Back Flip will be played the day of the event.

Students can still sing up to volunteer to pick up daily donations at the ASG office located in the U-building.
