The Dons rode a five-game win streak into the California Community College Athletic Association playoffs against Palomar College, but came up short in consecutive games 16-2 and 9-6.

The first game was called due to a 10-run mercy rule after five innings of play. The team put up its only two runs in the fifth inning.

In the second game of the series against Palomar, the Dons scored six runs, keeping it closer than the first. Six different Dons notched an RBI and first baseman Hattie Marshall blasted her sixth home run in the bottom of the sixth inning. The result was the same as the team would eventually lose in the end.

The Dons finished tied for third in the OEC with an 11-10 overall conference record.

Pitcher Desiree Hernandez led the Dons pitching staff with 21 starts and a 9-11 record. Only six pitchers in the conference made more appearances than her (30).

Hattie Marshall shored up the staff as the second starter, garnering a 9-9 record in 27 appearances and 18 starts with an ERA of 4.21.
