A Risk not worth the reward

FOOD:

College students heavily rely on energy drinks for a jolt of liveliness to help them focus. Yet with drinks like Rockstar containing 62 grams of sugar and three times the amount of caffeine found in soft drinks, the boost is not worth the risk.

Energy drinks have been linked to liver disease, tooth decay and heart palpitations. Before buying another energy drink, consider other healthier options such as green tea or iced coffee. —Aaron Vasquez
