Instead of being a gang-warfare simulator like its predecessors, Saints Row IV makes itself as silly as possible.

As the president of the United States, the player becomes endowed with superpowers and uses them to destroy aliens inside a Matrix-like virtual world.

The script parodies pop culture and videogames of the past. Weapons like the “bounce gun” make it more than a simple shooter, and leaping tall buildings in a single bound never gets old.
