MUSIC ALBUM: The Terror.
ARTIST/BAND: The Flaming Lips.

Thirteen is an unlucky number for The Flaming Lips. The band’s 13th album, The Terror, is boring, with tracks that are too drone-influenced. The opening song lures listeners into a netherworld reminiscent of the most ambient Aphex Twin song. Unfortunately, the rest of the album is less engaging. If only this experimental album had more creativity than great production.
