The Campaign with Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis is a major disappointment. The writing is childish and the cinematography is amateur in most scenes. Ferrell plays his typecast arrogant and cocky bastard. Galifianakis is a fat, awkward newcomer trying to win over the voters. Its blunt commentary on America’s untrustworthy politicians leaves the audience overwhelmed with witless and vulgar one-liners.
