Movie review: Abduction

How far would you go to find out who you are? Would you be able to handle the consequences of knowing the answer to that question?

Abduction is an action-thriller that follows teenager Anthony (Taylor Lautner) who is faced with a crisis of identity. His search for answers sets the target on his back, leading to pursuit by two dangerous groups.

This movie keeps you on the edge of your seat, but predictable love scenes and interaction between Anthony and Karen (Lilly Collins) diminish the movie experience. You may  even need your portable barf bag. The flirty banter seems thrown in for Lautner’s fans, who won’t be disappointed. As for everyone else, wait to be abducted from your living room sofa.
