Whisler Receives All-State Honors

Sophomore point guard Ashley Whisler received All-Orange Empire Conference honors for the second year in a row and was named third-team All-State. Sophomore forward Jazmine Johnson was also named to the All-OEC team.

Whisler led the Dons and the OEC in scoring with 20.5 points per game. She shot 33.7 percent from three-point range while breaking the college record from the free-throw line with a state-leading 91.7 percent.

Johnson led the team in rebounds and blocks while averaging 15.5 points per game.
