Volunteers needed for 9/11 Commemoration

A sea of American flags planted on lawn

Student leaders are calling for volunteers to help out in an event that will commemorate the orchestrated attack on the main US land.

The Veterans Resource Center and ASG will commemorate the 10-year anniversary of 9/11 by placing thousands of U.S flags on both sides of the campus Quad.

Volunteers and combat veterans will plant 2,976 for each soldier that has fallen in the war in Iraq.

The event will take place at noon in the quad area. Veteran Wylie McGraw will also talk about defending the country overseas.
