The iconic detective duo of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson are teleported out of 1887 and thrust into 21st century London. Playing off the seemingly homoerotic friendship implied in Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s stories, show creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss update and enhance the typically stolid mystery drama. Piqued by the most difficult of cases, these two charge in for the thrill of solving a vexing puzzle.
