Dons Drop A Close One Against East Los Angeles College 1-0

The Dons lost 1-0 Friday to visiting East Los Angeles college.

After 10 minutes, Huskies freshman forward Valentin Mercado scored the lone goal of the game

The Dons had opportunities to score with three corner kicks. The team took five shots, and four were on goal. Huskies goalie Brian Paredes had four saves.

After its season opening victory against Palomar, the Dons are winless with one tie.

Santa Ana College next plays Tuesday at home against San Bernardino Valley College. Empire Conference play opens Sept. 29 at Fullerton.
