Nearly 20 years after the start of his band Zoe, Mexican Latin Grammy award-winning artist Leon Larregui’s second solo album, Voluma, stays true to his unique sound.

Produced by Larregui with help from artists Adanowsky, Rob Lahana and Jack Lahana, Voluma is a deep and personal album. Each one of the 12 new songs is filled with romance and passion, reflecting emotions he attributes to now being a father.

Starting with the romantic “Locos” which debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes U.S Latin Alternative and rock charts a few weeks ago, his groovy guitar tones brilliantly achieve the ‘60s vintage sound he’s developed during his solo career.

“Zombies” boldly follows with more of an upbeat track, a little reminiscent of his latin rock band Zoe but distant enough to be pure Larregui. “Lattice” sounds more like the psychedelic ‘80s pop flavor Larregui capitalized on with Zoe.

Next up, Larregui will tour Mexico, South America and the United States, starting April 16 in Monterrey, Mexico.

The Voluma tour starts April 16 in Monterrey, Mexico. The U.S leg of the tour kicks off with a show at the Riverside Municipal Auditorium in Riverside, California June 17. For the latest news and tickets, visit leonlarregui.com/#1.

Voluma is available on all platforms and digital music stores now.
