The Associated Student Government celebrated Halloween with a costume contest Thursday in front of the fountain.

The Student Business Office faculty and staff won first place dressed as the Addams Family, complete with Cousin It.

“[ASG President] Jorgie Sandoval is reinvigorating the campus and re-energizing the students to do events like this,” Rhonda Langston, Director of Auxiliary Services said, “I love it.”

Langston was Grandmama, with unruly gray hair and decaying teeth.

Part of the family was head basketball coach David Breig as Lurch with a ghostly face and Hand on his shoulder.

Student Leane Rodriguez came in second to the Addams Family as a feminine Saytr, similar to Pan’s Labyrinth, with intricate makeup and a floral staff.

The Don bookstore is also having its own Halloween special, offering discounts on clothing, gifts and school supplies. The sale will end at 5 p.m.
