Hotline: Thinly veiled

MUSIC ALBUM REVIEW

GROUP: Passion Pit
ALBUM: Gossamer

If Passion Pit’s first studio album Manners turned you into a fan, stay clear of their latest album Gossamer. Most of the songs are boring and fall short of the high expectations set by Sleepyhead and Little Secrets. The remaining songs such as Cry Like a Ghost sound like watered down versions of the great tracks on Manners. Don’t waste time with this flop. It is as weak as the silk it is named after.

The cover for Passion Pitt's Gossamer album featured two girls holding on to each other with one hand and raising the other hand into the sky. The sun light came through a very foggy reddish pink bright sky. The title is set with very casual font style.
