Dons Suffer Third Loss of the Season

Santa Ana Dons Women’s soccer team took on the Cypress Chargers losing 3-0 on Friday, Oct. 11.

To open the first half, the Dons struggled to keep possession of the ball which lead the Chargers Forward Hunter Richmond to capitalize in the 43rd minute making the score 1-0 Chargers.

During the second half, the Chargers continued to maintain possession for most of the time. In the 80th minute, the Chargers Forward Morgan Patea was able to exploit the Dons lack of defensive positioning allowing for another goal making the score 2-0. 

Nine minutes later Forward Audree Campos scored again pushing the lead up to 3-0 off another defensive lapse from the Dons. This was the third game of the season the dons lose. 

The Dons look to get back on the winning side as they take on  Irvine Valley College, on Tuesday, October 15th at 3:00 p.m.
