SAC’s undefeated women’s soccer team won a close match against Palomar College 2-1 Tuesday, extending its winning streak to four games.

Dons freshman goalkeeper Reyna Campos punched away two goal attempts early in the first half, but let the Comets only goal through in the 20th minute.

Despite seven shots on goal by Santa Ana, Palomar led 1-0 at the half.

Early in the second half, freshman forward Mykayla Perkins scored her first goal of the season, evening the score.

Three minutes later, sophomore midfield Vivian Garcia scored the winning point, assisted by freshman forward Peggy Zisk.

The Dons will defend their wins at the first conference games, today at Golden West at 3p.m. and Friday at 3p.m. against Norco.
