Team Sends One to Regional Finals

Freshman Jazmin Avila participated in the 3,000-meter steeplechase event after finishing in second place at conference finals.

The track and field team sent a male long distance runner to regionals for the first time since 2008.

Santa Ana College distance runner Geovany Garcia competed in the men’s 10,000-meter run after placing fifth at the Orange Empire Conference finals.

Freshman Azahalea Vazquez competed in the women’s 10,000-meter run following an eighth place finish at the OEC finals.
