GAME DATE: April-2-2013.

Palomar first baseman Paige Falconieri drove a two-run homer in the fourth inning Tuesday, breaking the Dons 6-2 at Santa Ana College Softball Complex.

“We came out ready to play and we got the win,” Falconieri said.

Brenna Parker of Palomar singled through the right side of the field to bring in Maren Lebsock from second base and Jasmine Vogel from third in the bottom of the fifth.

Rodriguez doubled to right center, advanced to third base on a throwing error by second basemen Lebsock to bring in Natalie Valdez from first base.

“We just needed to score early and hit more consistently,” Rodriquez said.

Parker (7-4) pitched all seven innings for the Comets, while giving up five hits, two runs, an earned run, while walking three batters, and striking out three.
