Don’s football athletic profile: Joshua Webb

Sophomore Joshua Webb ended last season with 30 receptions for 461 yards and eight touchdowns, averaging 15.4 yards per reception and totaling 992 all-purpose yards. Webb needs to increase his amount of yards per catch to set himself apart from fellow Sophomore Wide Receiver Avery Williams. Playing the role of coach to younger players, Webb tries to help where he can. “I like to help guys with technique any way I can,” Webb said. Webb is not out to break records this season. “I want to have fun out there, no matter what,” Webb said. In high school, Webb played quarterback, defensive back, running back and is now an elite wide receiver. VITAL STATS:

  • Age: 19
  • Height: 6’0”
  • weight: 170 lb.

FAVORITE TRAINING TIP:

  • “It’s all about going out there and having fun. I want to show the younger guys that they should be disciplined and listen to the coaches, but have fun!”

REWARD:

  • “Having fun doing what you love doing.”
