The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are hosting a special college night in honor of Santa Ana College’s 100th celebration on Saturday, May 21.
Tickets are $20, and can be bought online at the Angels site or at the Student Business Office, VL-208. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. Seating is located in the Right Field MVP and Right Field Pavilion.
Prior to the game there will be a special ceremony in recognition of Santa Ana College; a post-game firework show finishes the special event. With every ticket, a voucher will also be given for a limited edition Santa Ana College-themed Angels hat.
“I think it’s really cool,” SAC student Gabby Cardenas, wearing a bright red Angels shirt, said.
She first heard the news through an email from the activities center.
“When I got the email, I got so excited that I texted my two other friends about it,” Cardenas said.
The Angels play the Baltimore Orioles at 7:05 p.m. in the second game of a three game home stand.
“I saw the event on Instagram. I thought it was really cool and I’m into stuff like that,” freshman Frank Sal said.
