After a year of student government miscommunications, resulting in several resignations, new president Jorge Sandoval said he is putting communication first.
Talking to students about what he can do to make campus a better place is a key goal, Sandoval said.
And no student is an exception. Sandoval took a sign language class this summer to communicate with deaf students on campus.
“It’s my little way of reaching out to the deaf community,” Sandoval said.
Communication amongst your peers is vital. I think everyone it’s very admirable that he learned American Sign Language. I am on my third year of ASL and I would love to join him on his venture.
