Fresh off of his Adidas Yeezy season 2 debut and the Video Music Awards rant, Kanye West now has his sights set on the Hollywood Bowl on Sept. 25 to 26.
This will be Kanye’s first time performing his full 808s & Heartbreak album, which features hit singles Heartless, Love Lockdown and Amazing.
In 2008 after the untimely death of his mother, and break up with long time girlfriend Alexis Phifer, Kanye fell into a lonely state influencing the work on his 808s album.
His album proved to be very unique as he barely rapped and used Auto-Tune to help hide his emotion.
808s is ranked one of the 40 most groundbreaking albums of all time, alongside Michael Jackson’s Thriller and Dr. Dre’s The Chronic according to Rolling Stone Magazine.
Although this album is not his most successful, there’s no doubt he’ll perform in front of a sold-out crowd full of Kanye faithful fans.
