No More Strokes

Tyranny

Julian Casablancas

By Rogelio Santana

The Strokes’ frontman Julian Casablancas is releasing his second solo album.

Collaborating with The Voids, the songs are fast punk with an ‘80s electro feel. Father of Electricity combines synthesizers and screeching guitar riffs with a catchy maracas backdrop.

Dare I care? is a fast Arabian-like tune and Where Eagles Fly, has a striking bass line with infectious synths.

Tyranny drops September 23.
