Hotline: Deadly debt

MOVIE: Killer Joe.

Matthew McConaughey steps out of his typical sexy body roles and plays a sinister perverted assassin in Killer Joe. Each character experiences gross humiliation justifying a NC-17 rating. Greed corrupts the entire family except for Dottie Smith (Juno Temple), who leaves you guessing with a cliffhanger finish.

Though Dottie’s naïve sense of humor brightens the black comedy, bring a barf bag for the vivid, violent scenes.
