SAC honors veterans

Jacob Blackwell and Marco Camargo observe fallen heroes of terror.

CAMPUS:

The Veteran’s Resource Center and the Veteran’s Student Association have come together to commemorate the lives of victims and servicemen and women with a Wall of Remembrance on campus. The wall depicts a timeline of events of the Global War on Terror, from 1983 spanning to 2012 referring to the wars and events in the Middle East.

By making a $15 donation to the VRC booth you can choose between a U.S. military T-shirt or bracelet. All proceeds go to granting wishes to combat wounded veterans.

The wall will be up for viewing in the quad, south of the Cesar Chavez Building until Friday at 6 p.m.
