An Apple iMac computer was stolen from a department chair’s office over the Christmas break.

The 27-inch monitor computer, worth about $2,000, was taken from C.W. Little’s office in the C-Building.

“There goes 25 years of my work,” said Little, chair of the communications and media studies department.

While there was no sign of forced entry, the thief had to open two locked doors to gain access to Little’s office, located inside the el Don newsroom.

Campus Safety called the Santa Ana Police Department to investigate.  A suspect has not been identified.
