Comeback Kid

The White Tortilla

Orange, Calif.

By Vanessa Cortez

After more than 20 years of absence, Mexican restaurant The White Tortilla made a comeback in the Latino community of El Modena. Due to Chapman Avenue’s expansion in the ‘90s, it had to close its doors. The Gomez family has provided generations of customers with authentic family recipes, including the popular El Modena Kid Burrito. Try the desserts, too.

White Tortilla is at 4420 E. Chapman Ave. in Orange.
