Club members crammed into The Spot Wednesday when gusty winds forced the Interclub Council’s annual Spring Fest indoors.

“It brought us closer as clubs,” Club Apple Community Service Coordinator Jonalyn Smith said.

About 10 clubs spent the afternoon fundraising while ICC and Associated Student Government officials offered club information to more than 100 students.

Prizes were awarded to attendees including movie tickets and Subway gift cards.

The Communication Studies Club sold Origami cranes. They crafted 1,000 of the paper cranes signifying peace and good luck. The SAC Engineering Club sold plants and the Veterans Student Association sold military bracelets.

“Anticipation for next year will be higher,” said ICC representative James Stoughton.
