Pause a second for safety’s sake

CAMPUS:

Don’t run the stop signs on campus. Every day while crossing College Avenue I see that almost every driver ignores them. If they attempt a stop it’s usually a “California roll.” Tapping the brake doesn’t count as a stop. Zipping down the street just makes things worse. The few seconds you shave off your commute aren’t worth the safety of the pedestrians. One mistake or overzealous move is not worth the price of taking a life
