In Don’t Starve, the player appears in a dreary, dreamlike landscape and is ordered by a mystery man to survive with nothing but the rocks, sticks, and weird animals around to use as resources.

Like Minecraft, the game keeps you compulsively collecting and crafting to stave off your inevitable death.

Darkness itself will kill you, as will insanity or starvation. Cheaply priced and long lasting, this game is a must-buy.
