The Amazing Spiderman 2

Marvel Entertainment

By Edson Valenzuela

The Amazing Spiderman 2 has a big cast and plenty of CGI. Unfortunately, the overabundance of players convolutes the plot and weighs down the story.

Watching Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone stare lovingly at each other while giggling over and over grows tedious. The movie’s target audience — teenage girls — won’t mind. Fight scenes were more dodgeball with lighting and bombs than actual combat. Two movies in, the reboot has become dull.
