After a record-breaking softball career, Alexandra Perkins will suit up for the University of Tennessee this season after signing her letter of intent in July.

In her two years as a Don, Perkins played four positions and set a new record with 42 stolen bases. “All I can focus on is working out so when I get there I’m ready,” Perkins said.

Perkins played a key role in Santa Ana College’s 2013 postseason berth, with an overall record of 26-16, before a second round loss to the College of the Desert Roadrunners.
