Students have until Friday, Sept. 4 to return books with no questions asked. Prices vary depending on the retail value and condition of the book.

If students decide to drop a class after Sept. 4 the Don Bookstore will accept returns until Sept. 8 with proof of an updated class schedule.

“We buy back books all semester but for less money,” Don Bookstore manager Thomas Bonetati said.

The books bought from students throughout the semester are not stocked by the bookstore. Instead, they are sold to another used bookstore that pays students less, Bonetati said.

The Don Bookstore refunds an average of 30 books a day from student sellers, Bonetati said.
