Mayor sees bikes in city’s future

Mayor Miguel Pulido unveiled a plan to create bicycle-sharing stations throughout the city at Sustain-a-Palooza on April 17.

The system allows riders to rent bikes from one depot and return them to others across the city.

“I want to bring thousands of bicycles to the city,” Pulido said, adding that several stations will be located on campus.

The bicycle network will be operational within a year, Pulido said.
