Tutoring Center loses funding

CAMPUS:

Budget cuts continue to slash math classes and tutors in the Math Center, forcing attendance to drop.

With only 14 paid workers in the center and about 20 volunteers, the department is relying heavily on more help.

“We are forced to serve more students with less money,” Math Center Coordinator George Sweeney said.
