Dons Paddle Away From the Bottom

The women’s team broke out of last place for the first time in a decade, finishing fifth at the Golden West Spring Meet Feb. 21.

Fielding five swimmers instead of three, as in years’ past, has helped, Head Coach Michelle Welsh said.

“It’s the largest team we have fielded for women’s swimming thus far,” she said.

Welsh recruited from women’s water polo to fill the team roster.
