Minimum Grade for Fee Waivers

Students receiving fee waivers will lose priority enrollment next fall if they drop below a 2.0 GPA, college officials said.

Board of Governor’s Fee Waiver recipients who fall behind for two semesters will also lose state financial aid in 2015, said Robert Manson, associate dean of financial aid.

The BOGFW covers the $46 per credit fee at community colleges for low-income students.

The state senate approved SB 1456, which places restrictions on BOGFW last year.
