President stands behind gay rights

OPINION: Politics.

During his inaugural speech, President Obama finally declared his support of gay marriage and, frankly, it was time. For too long, Americans have been dealing with homosexuality by pretending it doesn’t exist. If we’re mature enough to know that sex exists, we should be mature enough to admit that not everyone does it the same way. It’s not as if speaking about it will “turn you gay.”
