The Cosmonauts

The Orange County indie group Cosmonauts’ third album is its best yet. Persona Non Grata blends psychedelic tranquility with heavy rhythmic guitars.

The out-of-focus lyrics and hazy progression give the album a hypnotizing effect.

What Me Worry is a typical song echoing the group’s reverb-heavy sound. The screeching vocals mimic a drug-induced hallucination as the long guitar riffs guide listeners.
