SCC’s Gomez leads Hawks to 3-0 win

WOMEN’S SOCCER: VS. Santiago Canyon College Hawks
GAME DATE: September 25. 2012.

The Dons’ women’s soccer team suffered a 3-0 loss against visiting Santiago Canyon College Hawks Tuesday, Sept. 25.

The Hawks started early with a goal in the opening fifteen minutes by Hawks Defender Reanne Macon.

“This was my first goal at the college level,” Macon said.

In the second half, the Hawks sealed the win after Forward Amanda Gomez beat the Don defense to the ball, putting it beyond the goalkeeper’s reach.

Though Gomez said the Dons game started strong and finished strong.

The Dons (5-1-1) visit Fullerton College September 28.
