Skateboard Art On Display

By: Rogelio Santana

Art and skateboarding come together next Saturday during downtown Santa Ana’s monthly artwalk.

Work from more than 20 artists will be displayed on skateboards at “Game of S.K.A.T.E.” hosted by the artist collective Santa Ana Wins.

Participants can design a board and email a picture of it to santaanawins@gmail.com for a chance to be featured. There are prizes for the top three skateboard designs.

Performances from local bands and skate video screenings will go on all night.

The event runs from 6-10:30 p.m. April 5 at the CW&CD Gallery at 220 E. 4th St. Suite 105.
