Kindergartens introduced careers of their future

The class of 2030 will arrive at Santa Ana College Friday 8 for a day of interactive career stations.

Children are introduced, through hands-on demonstrations and exhibits, to career opportunities available as a result of college education. The primary goal is to plant the seed of education at its earliest stage. Kindergartners will arrive at the KinderCaminata wearing a lanyard with there his or her dream career, such as doctor, teacher, firefighter etc… More than 30 career stations provide exposure to a range of careers.

About 125 volunteers are needed for this rewarding experience. A training day is mandatory for new volunteers, but all volunteers are encouraged to attend. The office of Student Life is seeking to help set up the KinderCaminta 2013 event.

The deadline to submit volunteer application is Friday, March 1. Submit your application to the Office of Student Life in U-121A.
