Associated Student Government will host Latino Heritage Celebration Day in honor of Latino Heritage Month on Sept. 26. Enjoy music from LA 96.3 and food while listening to speakers exploring cultures from 15 different countries, such as Guatemala, El Salvador, Argentina and more. Students can earn Service Learning hours by volunteering at a nation-themed station. Sign up at The Spot, located at the Johnson Center. The celebration will take place at the fountain area from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

REACH OUT

The Service Learning Center will offer volunteer orientations now through Nov. 15 for new and returning students. Students can volunteer at various agencies, including local police departments, radio stations, and victim advocacy programs partnered with Santa Ana College. Awards will be given for volunteer work with credits available for certain counseling and nursing classes.

To become a volunteer sign up at the Service Learning Center located in the U-Building in room 204-B.
