The Associated Student Government, sponsored by the Don Bookstore, will be hosting Gradfest 2012 Wednesday.

A variety of graduation attire and memorabilia will be on sale, including rings by Jostens, caps, gowns, tassels, announcements and photos.

The event will help grads plan for the ceremony on May 17 at Eddie West Field in Santa Ana. More than 600 graduates will be participating, including transfer students; Middle College High School students graduating with both their diploma and associate degree; and college grads earning their associate degree alone.

More than 8,000 friends and family will be in attendance, making it the, “biggest community event in that stadium,” said Student Life Administrative Secretary Judy Arroyo.

Gradfest 2012 will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the U-Building patio.
