More than just frozen yogurt

A golden crepe folded like a burrito on a plate with nutty and cheese toppings and a side of sauce. You can’t accuse Yogo Fun of being just another yogurt shop. Where else can you get your fro-yo with a full range of café fare? It is like Gay Paris, only in Santa Ana.

The Nutella, strawberry and banana crepe was bursting with filling. The sweet, thickness of chocolate contrasts with the lightness of the fruits. I really don’t like when people try to cheap out on you and you just feel like there is not enough.

The crepes are huge and made in front of you. You can combine ingredients however you like, from the set menu.

There are sweet and savory crepes. You can get cheese and strawberry crepe, one of my favorites — the cheese goes inside with fresh cut strawberries, then you have chocolate topping with whip cream on side. The mushroom and cheese crepe comes with creamy sauce, inside and topped with toasted mozzarella cheese.

They have a wide variety of frozen yogurt, including red velvet, mango and plain tart.

For now it is a small café, but is currently undergoing expansion. The owner Piotr Marcinek, decided to widen the place and will add more to the menu. This place will not be all about frozen yogurt and crepes anymore. The menu will include different types of fresh salads, breakfast omelets, sweet pastry, fresh baked cookies and cakes. They will serve espresso and sangria soon.

Yogo Fun is a neat and colorful place. It has really comfortable chairs to sit on and plush sofa in the middle of the room, as Top 40 beats serenade customers who stream in and out. They usually take picture of you while eating and whenever you come you can see yourself or your friends on the TV screen.
