‘Tis the Season to be Overstressed

The holidays are meant for family reunions and religious traditions — unless you work in the service industry.

While the rest of us enjoy all that winter has to offer, employees in retail stores and restaurants know that this time of year is characterized by grueling hours and constant floods of demanding consumers.

Before making complaints to management about less than enthusiastic customer service, let’s remember who even makes these shopping experiences possible.
