Apple Factories Rotten at Core

Conditions for Chinese factory workers creating iPhone products are appalling, according to a September report by China Labor Watch.

Employees at the Jabil Green Point factory are subjected to unpaid overtime, 12-hour shifts and crowded living conditions. Jabil Circuit Inc., is based in Florida.

The U.N. Human Rights Council ordered in 2011 that businesses using overseas labor stop unpaid overtime.

Americans have traded sympathy towards others for the luxury of an electronic device.
