The Pope Clashes With the Vatican

Pope Francis has dedicated much of his time changing the tone of the Roman Catholic Church to better reflect modern sensibilities.

If the Pope is addressing the need to clear out the corruption, then it’s jarring to the bureaucrats responsible for keeping the Church’s morals based on medieval beliefs. Forces in the Vatican tried to rebuke his statement to the effect that good-hearted atheists are allowed into heaven.

Too bad the Vatican has spent centuries reinforcing the idea that the Pope is infallible.
