Immigrant Story Writing Workshop

By Katie Porter

The Learning Center is hosting a workshop for those who want to write a personal immigrant story as part of Santa Ana College’s Book of the Year celebration. Tutors are available Wednesday at 1 p.m. in room D-307 to help organize writing.

Stories can be a maximum of 400 words and tell about your journey and personal American dream. Final drafts must be emailed with a photo by Friday to garcia_yolanda@sac.edu.

Entries will be displayed alongside recorded readings of the pieces in next month’s Immigrant Voices exhibit.
