Doritos released rainbow-colored corn chips last week in support of the It Gets Better Project, a non-profit organization working with LGBT youth.
The bag of chips are available through the organization’s website by donating $10 to the charity. Once you donate, Doritos ships the snacks in about one to two weeks. All proceeds go to the non-profit, and Doritos covers the shipping costs.
Doritos Rainbows are a limited-edition version of its Cool Ranch-flavored tortilla chips, showing the chipmaker’s support of the LGBT community.
The chips are in shades of green, blue, purple, red and orange, taking inspiration from colors of the Pride flag.
Celebrities, politicians and organizations like President Obama, Joe Jonas, Kesha, Ellen DeGeneres, Google, Facebook and Pixar support the It Gets Better Project.
According to the website, the organization was created to show young LGBT people the levels of happiness, potential, and positivity their lives will reach, if they can just get through their teen years after being bullied.
“There’s nothing bolder than being yourself,” the company declares on the package, showing the commitment Doritos has towards equal rights.
